Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive compliance program tailored for stablecoin-based cross-border payment services.
• Monitor regulatory developments in key markets (U.S., LATAM) and assess their impact on business operations.
• Lead licensing strategy and execution (e.g., MSB, MTL, VASP) across multiple jurisdictions, with a primary focus on the U.S.
• Oversee AML/CTF frameworks, including KYC/KYB onboarding, transaction monitoring, and suspicious activity reporting.
• Ensure compliance with regulations relevant to digital assets, payments, and financial services, including but not limited to FinCEN, SEC, and FATF guidelines.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, product, engineering, and business teams to integrate compliance into product development and operational workflows.
• Liaise with regulators, banking partners, and legal counsel to ensure regulatory alignment and transparent communication.
• Educate and train internal teams on regulatory requirements, risk mitigation, and industry best practices.
• Conduct regular internal audits, compliance risk assessments, and updates to company policies as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on compliance experience in the Web3 or payments industry.
• Proven knowledge of stablecoins, digital asset regulations, and cross-border payment compliance frameworks.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements in the U.S. market, including relevant licenses (e.g., MSB, MTL), and regulatory bodies (FinCEN, SEC, etc.).
• Familiarity with regulatory environments in LATAM (e.g., Brazil, Mexico), SEA (e.g., Singapore, Thailand), Taiwan, and the broader Asia-Pacific region.
• Experience managing compliance functions in high-growth, fast-paced, and globally distributed organizations.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); multilingual capability (Mandarin, Spanish, Portuguese) is a strong plus.
